Dunsmuir Library Is Open Tuesday Through Saturday: County Branch Hours

DUNSMUIR, Siskiyou County — The Dunsmuir branch of the county library offers five consecutive afternoons of service each week, including Saturday, according to the Siskiyou County Library System.

The county’s branch directory lists the library at 5714 Dunsmuir Avenue, Dunsmuir, CA 96025, with telephone number 530-235-2035. Regular hours are 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. Sunday and Monday are shown as closed.

Planning for students, visitors and residents

Saturday access may be especially useful to households that cannot visit the branch during the workweek. Residents should ask staff about current borrowing requirements, available public computers, children’s programming and whether a specific digital service is offered locally.

The county says changes or last-minute closures may be announced through the library catalog page. Posted hours are therefore a planning reference, not confirmation that the branch is open at any particular moment.

Community participation

The county also maintains information about local Friends of the Library groups, which support branches through volunteer involvement and related activities. Interested residents can ask branch staff for current volunteer opportunities or meeting details.
